Vinyl Pressing Review

Lannie Flowers

A solid album of 70s era power pop with a sprinkle of country and Americana. The songwriting isn't always very original but fans of the Raspberries and Badfinger may find a lot to love.

Ratings are based on a scale from 0-10.

Overall Sound:

7.00

A good sounding record but I did find it strange they chose to go the 3 side route with 15 tracks. There is noticeable inner groove distortion on the louder songs. That could have been fixed with using all 4 sides.

Pressing Quality:

7.00

Good not great. Has a somewhat budget vibe.

Vinyl Noise:

6.00

There is noticeable, low level noise during most quick passages.

Overall Artwork:

8.00

Very strong, great gatefold with lots of fun pictures showing Lannie throughout the years. Inner sleeves have art as well.

Overall Extras:

7.00

A nice overall presentation. Digging the thick gatefold cover.
